Irving and Doncic Combine for 69 Points in Victory

The Dallas Mavericks have advanced to the NBA Finals for the third time in franchise history after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-103 in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic led the way for the Mavericks, combining for 69 points. Irving scored 35 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists, while Doncic added 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with a season-high 44 points, along with 4 assists and 3 rebounds. Rudy Gobert also contributed with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

The Mavericks took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Timberwolves 37-20. Irving and Doncic were both hot from beyond the arc, combining to make 11 three-pointers.

The Mavericks will now face the Eastern Conference champion in the NBA Finals. Game 1 of the Finals is scheduled for June 1st.
